About Katja
Katja Salskov-Iversen is sailor who knows how to rock the waves! Born in Denmark in 1994, Katja’s love for sailing began at a young age. She sailed her way to the top, investing countless hours to master the sport. Her drive and dedication have propelled her to great heights in international competitions. She has proudly represented Denmark in numerous regattas and championships, showcasing her talent. At the 2016 Rio Olympics, she teamed up with Jena Mai Hansen and together they took a bronze medal in the Women’s 49erFX class. They also won the the titles of World Champions and European campions.
Since 2021 Katja has been a part of Rockwool Denmark SailGP Team. SailGP is the world’s most exciting race on water, where anything can happen in short, adrenaline-fueled battles between national teams at iconic stadium venues worldwide.
In addition to her sporting achievements, she pursued a master’s degree at DTU (Technical University of Denmark) in Business Analytics. Katja knows how to navigate the numbers as well as the high seas.
Beyond her achievements, Katja is known for her energetic and approachable nature. She loves what she does and she inspire everyone around her to also be ambitious and go for their dreams.
Outside of sailing, Katja is passionate about protecting our environment. She’s an advocate for sustainability and the conservation of marine ecosystems. Through her actions and involvement in various initiatives, she spreads the message of taking care of our oceans and encourages others to do the same.

My aim is to inspire and motivate the audience, fostering a positive and motivated mindset. I facilitate learning and development by delivering tailored workshops and speeches. Working together with a client benefits both the audience and myself in terms of knowledge sharing, inspiration and growth. I thrive on sharing my stories and motivating the audience to chase their biggest dreams too.”
